Introduction to Legal Office Procedures
In partnership with Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU), the Surrey School District provides students with an opportunity to complete the Introduction to Legal Office Procedures LGLA 1125 course. This course is practical in its focus. Through case study simulations, students will learn to prepare a variety of legal correspondence and documentation. Instruction is provided by a KPU instructor. Participants earn both secondary school course credits and credit for the KPU course LGLA 1125.
Applicants should have a strong interest in pursuing a career as a legal office assistant or a paralegal professional. As well, applicants must be in grade 11 and attending a public school in Surrey.
